Josh Hall’s Web Design Business Course Review

If you are considering starting your own web design agency, Josh’s online course is the guide you’ve been looking for. It’s outstanding. It will help you avoid the time and energy investment necessary to learn these lessons the hard way, on your own.

Josh Hall is a professional web designer, podcast host, and web agency owner. You might know Josh from his excellent YouTube divi tutorials or via “Divi Web Designers,” his Facebook group for people using the Divi theme.

The course format is well-organized, detailed, and easy to follow. Josh’s natural delivery makes it a pleasure to follow along. Josh walks you through each step of creating a profitable web design business, including:

• contracts,
• proposals,
• questionnaires,
• getting your first client,
• getting more (and better) clients,
• onboarding and offboarding,
• project management,
• and growing/scaling your business.

At the end of Josh’s course there is a section with additional training, free downloads, and other resources which I found to be to be a real time-saver.

If you are already in the business of designing websites, but are struggling with efficiency and business management, this course is an effective way to revise and update your web design process to get the most out of your time and boost your profitability. Josh has invested a lot in business coaching, and he reveals what’s he’s learned along the way in this course, applied to the web design industry.

Unlike some of his other web design courses, Josh’s web design business course isn’t WordPress or Divi-specific. It’s a good choice even if you’re not a WordPress designer/developer. For me, it helped me transition from primarily offering graphic design services to focusing on my web design services. His checklists and SOP’s for web design are really helpful, even if you’ve already been in business for a while.

Also of note, the support for this course is outstanding and personalized. You get lifetime access, and Josh is always available to answer your questions through his private course community (the Student Center) which is an active forum for sharing course-related resources and connecting with Josh’s other students.

This small investment in my future has paid dividends beyond count, and I couldn’t be more happy and satisfied with the course. I have since registered for several of Josh’s other online courses, and have found them to be of equal quality and value.
